What is the difference between a nurse-call communication system and a signalling system? A nurse-call communication system enables two-way voice communication between patients and staff. A signalling system is primarily used to call for assistance without two-way voice communication.
-
How can I determine which nurse-call system is best suited to our facility? The right solution depends on the type of facility, the care provided, staff requirements and the technical characteristics of the building. We can help you select a suitable system for a hospital, care home, specialised care facility, hospice or rehabilitation centre.
-
Is the system easy to use for both patients and staff? Yes. Our systems are designed to be simple and intuitive for both patients and staff. You can also learn more about how they perform in everyday operation by viewing our customer references.
-
Can a nurse-call system be installed in an existing building? Yes. For existing buildings where structural work needs to be kept to a minimum, we also offer wireless solutions. These allow for easier installation without extensive building work or significant disruption to normal operations.
-
Do you only supply the system, or do you also provide installation and after-sales service? We provide a complete solution, from system design and manufacturing to installation and after-sales service. This means that we can support your system throughout its entire service life.
System Design
-
Where can I find technical documentation for designing CODACO systems? The latest technical documentation is available in our Client Zone. There, designers, installation companies and partners can find all the relevant documentation and materials in one place.
-
Can I consult your team about the system design during the planning stage? Yes. Our specialists can help you design the right solution and answer any technical questions throughout the project. We provide support from the initial design stage through implementation to ongoing after-sales service.
-
Can you help me choose the right system for a specific healthcare or social care facility? Yes. We design each solution according to the type of facility, its operational needs and the communication requirements of patients and staff. Depending on the specific situation, we may recommend a communication, signalling or wireless system.
-
Can the solution be tailored to the specific requirements of my project? Yes. Thanks to our in-house development and manufacturing capabilities, we can take the project’s specific requirements into account and propose a solution tailored to the facility’s operations.
-
Who can I contact if I need assistance with system design? Please contact our system design team. We will be happy to discuss your project, technical requirements and the most suitable system solution with you.
System Implementation and Long-Term Operation
-
Can you design a solution for the refurbishment of an existing facility? Yes. When designing the solution, we take into account the technical characteristics of the building, its existing infrastructure and operational requirements. Based on these factors, we recommend the most suitable solution.
-
Can you deliver the entire project, from system design and installation to after-sales service? Yes. CODACO provides system development, manufacturing, installation and after-sales service. This gives you a single partner for the entire life cycle of the system.
-
How is the system serviced and supported after installation? Our support does not end when the system is handed over. We provide repairs, regular maintenance and spare parts. We handle most service requests within 24 hours.
-
Will spare parts remain available for years to come? Yes. Long-term support is important to us. We maintain our own spare parts warehouse and continue to service older equipment. If a required part is not in stock, we can manufacture it.
-
What is the expected service life of the system? We guarantee an equipment service life of up to 15 years. The actual service life is also influenced by how the system is used and maintained. We provide technical and service support throughout this period.

-
Will the facility need to limit its operations while repairs are being carried out? In many cases, no. Our technicians can carry out repairs during normal operations while keeping disruption to staff and patients to a minimum.
-
Do you offer a service agreement for regular system maintenance and support? A service agreement helps keep your system reliable and up to date. You can choose a regular maintenance interval that suits the needs of your facility.
