Dear Partners,

In recent months, we have been working on changes that are visible at first glance, but whose true value will only become apparent in everyday operation.

We are pleased to introduce the new design of our system control elements.

It may seem like a detail. In reality, however, it is the point where our system meets the user — and where clarity, confidence, and speed of response truly matter.

That is why we revisited the design from the ground up, in collaboration with DIVAN Design.

A Partnership That Makes Sense

Our collaboration with DIVAN Design was no coincidence. They have long specialized in healthcare design, and their solutions are an integral part of hospital environments — just like our systems.

This hands-on experience provided the ideal foundation for working together on a design built to perform in everyday operation.

What Was the Goal?

This was not just about updating the look.

The goal was to create a consistent and intuitive design across the entire system — one that reflects today’s technologies as well as the growing demands for user-friendly operation. We began the collaboration with what users see and interact with most often: the design of the control elements.

At the same time, this marks the first step in a broader transformation. The new design is gradually being introduced into the system’s graphical user interface, which is now undergoing a major modernization after many years.

“At the beginning, we focused on an important part of your products — the foils, which significantly influence the appearance of most elements of the nurse-call communication system. The goal was not only to implement the new corporate identity, but also to create a more modern, cleaner, and more user-friendly design, unified across the entire product portfolio.”

Design That Reflects Reality

In healthcare, there is no time to figure out what each button means.

Controls must be clear at first glance — even in moments when a person is under pressure or working in challenging conditions.

“In a hospital, your ‘handset’ will also be used by people with disabilities, impaired vision, large fingers, etc. We therefore primarily focused on good visibility, legibility, and clarity of symbols. This is definitely not about making the graphics merely nice and visually appealing, but rather functional and timeless.”

This approach is close to us. The emphasis on functionality, clarity, and real-world use is exactly what we also build on — and what led us to move the design of our control elements forward.

What Has Changed

The original system evolved gradually. With each new function, additional elements and symbols were introduced.

This time, we approached the design as a whole.

  • We unified the visual language across all devices.

  • We redesigned the symbols to make them more intuitive.

  • We refined the color scheme with a stronger focus on contrast and orientation.

  • We simplified the graphics and removed distracting elements.
